Jayeff Construction completed the ground-up construction of a nearly 100,000 square-foot Pack N Stor self storage facility at 98 Orange Avenue in West Haven, Connecticut. Developed for BDC Group, the four-story facility offers a mix of climate-controlled units, drive-up units, and handicap-accessible storage options.
Located just off Interstate 95 along Boston Post Road, the facility serves the surrounding West Haven community and is conveniently situated near the University of New Haven and Yale University. The building includes a variety of unit sizes: 10×20, 10×15, 10×10, 10×5, and 5×5.
To help reduce overall project costs, Jayeff developed a proprietary insulated panel system for the building exterior and value engineered the HVAC system while maintaining the facility’s design and engineering requirements.
The West Haven project is one of more than 10 completed by Jayeff Construction in Connecticut over the past decade. As the company approaches its 100th self storage facility, the project adds to Jayeff’s growing portfolio of ground-up and conversion self storage projects.
