Jayeff Construction completed the ground-up construction of a new Wawa convenience store and gas station at 1951 East Edgar Road in Linden, New Jersey. The project included a new 5,000-square-foot convenience store and a fueling area with a steel gas canopy.
The building was constructed using a metal frame with wood sheathing on a concrete slab foundation. Construction progressed according to schedule, with the Jayeff team coordinating both the building and site work throughout the project.
During construction, Jayeff assumed additional site work responsibilities that were not part of the original scope. Despite the added work, the project remained on schedule and the store opened on time.
The Linden location is one of several ground-up Wawa projects completed by Jayeff Construction. The project adds to the company’s experience building convenience stores and fueling stations throughout the region.
