The project involved converting a vacant retail space into a fully programmed indoor pickleball facility, including a new entry vestibule, member check-in area, office, janitor’s closet, restrooms, nine standard-sized pickleball courts, a dedicated stretching area, and storage space – all seen from a second-floor mezzanine. The scope also included a change in use classification from mercantile (M) to assembly (A-3), requiring close coordination to meet code and occupancy requirements.
