Jayeff Construction completed the fit-out of a new 35k SF Bob’s Discount Furniture store in Eatontown, New Jersey. The project transformed a former Bed Bath & Beyond space that had previously been subdivided into two retail suites, with Bob’s occupying the end unit.
Work began with selective demolition before the team built out the space with new lighting, electrical, an energy management system, security system, and the retailer’s signature café. Jayeff also modified and upgraded the existing HVAC, plumbing, and fire sprinkler systems to support the new store layout and operations.
Renovating second-generation retail spaces requires careful coordination to adapt existing building systems while meeting a national retailer’s brand standards and construction schedule. This project highlights Jayeff’s expertise in converting former retail spaces into modern environments for national brands.
